Starting a new Rotary Club

Top Tips

1.Decide Location

2. Complete Survey

3. Decide date of first meeting

3. Recruit helpers (not necessarily from neighbouring clubs)

4. Inform neighbouring clubs that it is Districts intention to form a new club as the demographic data collected in the survey shows that a new club is warranted

5. Seek out a sponsor club and explain their responsibilities

6. Promote first meeting ( Newspaper advert, posters, radio interview, visit business's in vicinity of the location and leave a poster, Visit newsagents in the vicinity and ask if you can insert the poster in the local newspaper)

7. Continue the promotion each week
